Not sure everyone on here will remember that though.

They will make many millions from this! This is great news for VPN providers.
Argyle have just released it, hence it being shared. And rightly so.It was confirmed last year when it got announced
It reads to me like audio streaming would still be available through Argyle TV, which is how I take the Saturday games in now.Urgh. Hate Sky. Am I the only one who finds their commentary flat, uninspiring and uninformed and that the crowd noise is always at a minimum? Much prefer ATV coverage when it's on.
I've no doubt this will be better for the casual Accrington fan who already has a Sky subscription, but for the exiled Argyle fan with no Sky subscription (and no technical knowhow/will to go through backdoor VPN stuff) this is a real shame.
I use Proton. It's free to install and use but you only get three countries to connect to. That's only ever been a problem once in the three years I've been using it (I can't even remember why - but maybe it was something to do with our game being broadcast in all of those three countries so it wouldn't let me buy the pass).
You can pay for proton as well and get many more countries. The advantage with them is that they are Swiss based and with the privacy laws there, the companies will never get any information from them.
Can recommend Nord VPN. They usually have good discounts and I have found them to be very reliable....living aboard I have no issue connecting to UK TV which has been an issue with other VPN providers....they have many countries you can connect to as well. What is the best VPN to use?
Any idea on cost?

I wonder how this deal will impact the international subscription, we already can't watch matches each time Argyle are on sky (unless you live/visit a "dark country"). Its not so much of an issue only being live 2-3 times a season but I'm guessing this new deal will mean more games on Sky meaning less on ATV?

If they have any sense they would sub-contract with individual clubs to provide pre match, half time and post match analysis for games not on the main channels as obviously covering so many matches at once Sky will be unable to do it themselves. Are they going to have half time shows on iFollow? The current offering of no build up and no half time or full time talk is just garbage. Hopefully they get their act together.
Visually I can't complain about Sky's offering. It's the insipid commentary I can't stand. I get that they're trying to cater for an unbiased audience that may not have the foggiest who any of the Argyle players are, but I like a little bit more personality and info than hearing Don Goodman or Lee Hendrie telling me that "Whittaker has scored 19 goals since his £1m transfer from Swansea" or that he "likes to cut in on his favoured left foot". I can't relate to it and it's enough to send me to sleep. It's also £2 more expensive to buy a solo match. I have no interest in forking out £35 a month for a subscription to Sky when 99% of the time our TV is used for CBeebies and Youtube.I personally think the home viewing experience will be as good or possibly better and as an existing sky sports subscriber (as I think the majority of football fans are) it will be quite a bit cheaper than paying sky subs and £10 a game for Argyle TV. My concern is, as somebody who works in the week and lives 120 miles from the ground, is with fewer saturday afternoon fixtures to attend live
