what do people think about are attacking opions for this season i got a horrible feeling that were going to be to lacking in creativity i hope im wrong,we have no attacking midfielders/creating mid and are forwards havent set the pre season alite mason looking good but don't want to put to much preasure on a youngster ,i believe we have the best defence in the league just hope we score enough goals...4 weeks to get rid of a few a sign a few
I'm starting to think that maybe Cap'n Marvels 'injury' is similar to the one Halmosi had. We have quite a few midfielders now and Fletch must be on a pretty penny so would go some way to reducing the wage bill if he left. Also, he's in his last year and I've not heard anything about talks of agreeing a new contract.. Anyone 'in the know' heard any whispers?
Wondering who has the biggest fortune in the westcountry and is of the westcountry, rather than a second home resident.
I know that the Ranges Chris Dawson has a considerable fortune, any idea of how it compares to the the Trago Mills Robertson family fortune.
Then theres our old friend Dan McCauley whos got a few bob stashed away despite his impulsive purchase of Drakes Island.
Anybody else hear his interview on Talksport?

Said he was looking for a club, had a bit of interest though nothing concrete. He hasn't had an agent for a few years prefers to represent himself, which I found surprising, and his favourite former clubs are Fulham and Argyle.

I have sadly not been able to see any of the games but I have been Reading all of the reports and build ups. So for me.... GK romain
RB Seip
CB Reda
CB Bonz
LB Oz
ALM Yala
DCM Jonson
DCM Flech
ARM Mason
CF Mcclean (just behind in the hole)
CF Rory PAtterson

I think if we play simular to holland with flech and damian sitting infront of the back 4 with our wing back pushing on as well
playing a strong attacking team but can also fill in at the back... But I ain't no fabio.
So with the season 7 days away do we expect anymore signings/departures before the big kick off ?
And from those who have been to the pre-seasons do we need to strengthen anywhere ? And where do you expect us to finish ?
Me personally would be very disapointed with a below 10th place finish with the strength of squad we have whilst many didnt perform last season most are seasoned championship players and therefore must have the experience required for a play off challenge at the least
I blame relegation on the lack of unity in the squad caused mainly by the managers inability to man manage players of a certain standard and by the time Mariner took charge those divides where too deep
Im hoping Peter Reids happy go lucky attitude with a bit of disipline can sort all this out
Of the clubs in our league who would we class as bigger maybe Charlton,Sheffield Wednesday,Southampton & Huddersfield ? Charlton and Southampton have like us had there problems although seem set up for a good crack at it, Sheffield Wednesday whilst throwing a bit of money about do seem to still have money problems lurking around the corner which could result in a fire sale come January if they go well and Huddersfield seem to be well set up with established squad and talented manager surely there will be one or 2 challenges beyond that but other than Peterborough cant see where from
Is there one yet? Oooh, do I get to start it?

- woeful levels of organisation from QPR. Good turnout from the GA though

- first half very encouraging. Kept the ball well, Peterlin and Summers impressing and DJ back to his old routine of being in the right place all the time.

- Fallon won 80% of headers in the first half and 8% in the second. Still fairly effective though, although still not enough crosses into the box.

- Baz looked very good at left mid, and Molyneaux tried to overlap a few ties as well. Wouldn't mind LM as a backup left back on that showing.

- Timar looks as fit as the proverbial butcher's dog.

- MacLean played OK in the hole. Some really good touches and he is right up there as the most thoughtful player in the team.

- Second half was scrappy and QPR had more chances. Arnason looked way out of position for their goal. Mackie, who scored it, didn't do a whole lot.

- The Irish keeper (sorry, couple of ciders and have forgotten his name) looks very good. Commanding.

- Rory Patterson. Hm, I'll reserve judgement. He looked a few yards off the pace tonight though. Needs games and fitness.

- Couple of cockneys having a bit of 'banter' with pushing and shoving included in the second half. Keith Curle looked bemused.

- Moment of the match: ball runs away to the byline and QPR left back shouts 'i'm not f****** running to get that'. Schoolboy stuff.
_________________
Sometimes right, sometimes wrong. Always certain.
