With all the current euphoria and renewed optimism about, I believe the club should once again be pushing season ticket sales with maybe a "takeover special" offer.

I know the buzz word is frugality from the new board; streamline and steady the ship, but I was expecting some news on one or two signings. Even more so with the positive news from the new owners which surely would only help any new potential signing to make up their minds. Does anyone have any ideas?

I was expecting to be struggling to log on once the storry broke about the takover.

I didn't look at the veiwing numbers. Did anyone happen to notice if they were very high.

I did keep an eye on the list of users on line, it didn't look like there were many more users veiwing than normal. Or have I got that wrong?

In the past, big events at Home park have caused pasoti to grind to a halt. I was half expecting thaty to be the case yesterday. Could it be that people don't feel to inspired by the whole takeover. Or is it a close season thing.

Does anybody know of any events or places of interest that might be worth a visit near Luxulyan (but basically anywhere in Cornwall or even beyond if it is a big enough draw) between 1-8 August?

A friend is visiting from abroad with a handful of Spanish students and has set up a schedule that includes walking the Saints Way to Fowey, Lanhydrock House, the "Courtroom Experience" (!) in Bodmin, Eden Project, St Austell Brewery, St Ives, Minack Theatre, Newquay, Looe and Polperro.

The festival I would like to see revived is The Elephant Fayre,how many on here went to either of them (way back in the day that was.)A west country version of the Isle of Wight festival.
