Well the only good thing to come with the extending delays is that it means more budget should be left over, the saving will mount. I doubt now that we'll get anyone until Christmas, so the saving in money should mean more to spend on wages then...right?

Still doesn't mean he'll come to us and if he did it would be under sufferance and as a last resort.

I'll bet DA is still wasting time on this rather than looking for a striker.

He got a striker in and is seemingly prepared to use Fletcher.

A week later and Josh Wright still not signed anywhere. DA seems to have lost interest, not sure why.

Josh Wright is a very good League 1 midfielder and if Southend can't afford him, maybe we can. Any player without a club does not earn money and if we are his second choice so be it. Those bills build up at the end of the month. I would love him to sign and he still may.

Based on Skynet's recent posts (opinions rather than rumours), I suspect that, unfortunately, his source of information is no longer 'in the know'.

Wright has signed for Southend.

Interestingly on the financial front in L1, Pennock saying that he has players on £400 pw playing and £200 pw on bench, whereas some in this league are on £8K pw.

It is definitely tighter, which is probably a good thing.
