Thought he played secondary as a RB, not LB?

Pardon me you are correct. How many games has he played this season?

We defiantly need a centre back. When did Leacock last play?

I would have thought that it depended on whether the Manager felt he could do better in the long term than Blanchard, who does not 'switch lights on' for me as a CB. IHMO of course.

Clough looking to sell Leacock along with Pearson, Martin & Bywater to raise funds although all of them are out of contract at the end of the season so it will be small fees. The report below caught my eye.

Quote:
Stephen Bywater, Dean Leacock and Stephen Pearson are all seeking new clubs and, once they are sold, it should free up around £25000 a week off the Pride Park wage bill.

Goalkeeper Bywater, 30, has been out on loan at Sheffield Wednesday and a permanent move to Hillsborough is in the offing.

Pearson, 29, meanwhile, is at Bristol City and it is thought likely the Robins will sign the midfielder.

Leacock, 27, though, is in limbo, with no clubs as yet showing an interest in the injury-plagued centre-half.
