I fully understand if not many tuned into Sky for the second round draw but you missed a right farce.
Firstly Newport were in the northern half of the draw and will host Leeds United whilst Burton Albion will travel to Cardiff because yes, they were in the southern section.
However it got worse. There were three pots. Pot A had the seeded teams which were drawn first. Then the second pot had home or away balls which determined where the seeded teams would play. Pot three had the non-seeded teams.
They were four games in before John Salako (who was drawing the seeded teams and the venue balls) realised he had been calling things back to front. He was calling the white balls for home fixtures and the red balls away. You could see the look of horror when he realised that the red balls had an "H" on them. However, they just carried on regardless but from then on correctly saying red were "home" balls.
At the end of the draw they confirmed the northern section of the draw but skipped showing the south. An hour on, Sky still haven't even acknowledge the confusion but their strap along the bottom of Sky Sports News is now showing those four fixtures the other way round than first announced.
