So Warrington v Exeter will be live on BBC 1 on Friday 7th November. Sure there will be plenty of Greens viewing hoping for an upset.

TV money will be good for them. Might save them taking further loans and prevent any embargo through the January window.

How much do the home and away teams get respectively in the 1st round?

You could argue that is why this fixture has been chosen. Chance of an upset because its a `league` club away from home and the FA get some of there money back they loaned.

There's enough morons on Exweb that don't understand the concept of loans without us using this for cheap shots.
The loan provided to Exeter was from the PFA which is basically a footballers union and not directly linked to the FA which governs the sport. They've repaid the loan they had preseason so the PFA has already had their money back, the TV money from this game will tide them over for a while but it's only really delaying the need for either A) a second loan or B) selling their prized assets of Grimes and Pym. With no major crowd pleasing games until we attend in February it will be another bleak transfer window in January.

There of course is the chance of a giant killing and I suppose the Exeter fans will be hoping there is no repeat of Curzon Ashton whilst we of course know how FA cup ties in round one are not formalities, especially when playing away enters the equation.

Finally, come on Warrington....

Yep, and on top of that, it's the TV companies that choose the games not the FA so they wouldn't have picked it for that reason anyway.

And here's the kicker.... The TV companies want to see an upset which is why they chose this game. A league two side away to an amateur side on a tight pitch. On that basis tho, I don't see how they failed to pick us with our history against bottom feeders.

They generally only show games where non league sides are at home
