I can imagine it all getting a bit Abbott & Costello.

"The away end literally looks no different. I mean, it looks exactly the same as it did yesterday when I locked up."
"Well they've been."
"How can you tell?"
"Well I....some guys came with some demolition equipment and then an hour later they went home."
"And what did they do in that time? Did you watch them?"
"No, I assumed they knew what they were doing."
"Well that doesn't help...how does the old toilet look?"
"Don't know, I haven't been to Pinhoe today....oh the one in the away end...completely unusable."
"Hmmm...no help there then."
"Phone call for you sir, it's the demolition team"
"Aaah! Talk of the devil...hello? Yes, apparently my groundsman saw you leave, but we can't tell if you actually carried out any work."
"DAMN CHEEK!! Why did you book us to do the demolition only to hire someone else?"

"We arrived this morning with all our equipment and blast it! The job had already been done! You do know it's illegal to waste people's time? Rest assured we'll be sending an invoice."
