Great time at the Big Green Quiz Night, tough quiz but happy with our 52 out of 65 score.

Was good to see Derek Adams and Martyn Starnes having a team who we beat.

Very well put together quiz, interesting & indeed challenging! & Oh so easy to be just “one season out “ so often! Thank You to the organising team & question master; a most enjoyable evening.

I did ask Paul but it was a very clever quiz based on a pack of cards and to have to explain it would take and age, and all the questions per card number (four) then led you have to guess the season involved.

‘Twas very cleverly devised by Rob, for example out of the 52 questions we got 49 right but we got four of the seasons wrong and we weren’t in the top four.

Imagine trying to explain Who want to be a Millionaire on Pasoti and then trying to play it.

Brilliant on the night but it wouldn’t transfer onto here.

In our team we had the difficulty of Dunlop being slightly hard of hearing and Oddball having this primal urge to shout out the answers.

Now remember the questions led to an Argyle player’s name. So when asked what was the colour of the despised Coventry City of the 70’s the answer was ‘Brown’, but one team answered ‘Chocolate’ (which actually was what Coventry called it at the time) but the thought of a player being called Kenny Chocolate’ amused me no end!
