Has Bristol Rovers never been in the Championship then as I thought that meant having to have an all seater stadium?

A quick check shows they haven't but it's funny how sometimes the memory plays tricks on you.

Bradford City's match day price for home and away fans is interesting considering they charge so little for season tickets. You could miss 15 games and still have saved money. I wonder how many ST holders pick and choose thei games and don't bother with the less glamorous games.

Argyle should have contact opposition clubs in advance of the season and come to an agreement with prices. They suggest to the oppo we'll charge your fans what you charge ours and set out a max price. Many clubs now arrange these kinds of deals.

I thought that a club could not charge an away fan any more than a home fan?

Looks to me like 1992-93 was their last season in the second tier. They were managed by Dennis Rofe then Big Mal, Steve Cross as caretaker and then John Ward. Hopefully each took an equal share of the blame for finishing 24th out of 24. They were at Twerton Park then so does a different ground now get them out of that obligation anyway?

Unsure when the ruling came in but you have to be there for 3 years before having to remove the terrace from use, hense how Yeovil still use theirs.

The Taylor Report was published in 1990 and Rovers were relegated just in time to avoid having to go all seater at Twerton Park. The Memorial Stadium was not subject to the new legislation as it was an existing rugby ground (the new law only included Association Football stadiums) and seeing as Rovers haven't been back to tier two since moving there in 1996, their three year ticking clock to have all seats at this location has yet to be started.

When did they move out of Eastville?

Unbelievably over 30 years ago in 1986.
