Just thought i'd make a new thread, specifically looking at the team rather than the predictions.

Jakub Sokolik - Songo'o was limping badly after Tuesday, so possibly a doubt. If not, Songo'o for Sokolik

Jamie Ness
David Fox
Jake Jervis - Instead of Nathan Blissett
Antoni Sarcevic - Instead of Ryan Edwards
Joel Grant
Nadir Ciftci

Robbert Te Loeke
Callum Rose - If Songo'o misses through injury
Ruben Lamieras
Lionel Ainsworth
Alex Fletcher
Nathan Blissett
Gregg Wylde

I do though feel the above bench is too attack minded, but currently have little choice with injuries and suspensions.

I'd actually give Wylde a start. He has found the net this season and not many of our squad can say that.

After witnessing 4 home games, albeit playing most of 3 of them with 10 men i reckon
we gotta go 3 centre mids. Gotta protect those CBs first and foremost. So a 4141 to
defend and counter with and a narrow front 3 in a 433 like tuesday if chasing the game.

That makes bleak viewing.

Probably our 4 best players in Oscar, Carey, Edwards and Taylor missing.

Have to say we look slow, unbalanced and lightweight and it doesn't bode well.

Lets just hope DA doesn't employ 5 at the back with sawyer and miller as supposed wing backs as the midfield will get overrun again

Songo'o must start if he's fit, was very good in midfield on Tuesday and I would keep him there with Sokolik in for Edwards. Sarcevic to replace Ness or Fox as they are too similar.

Yep, with the players that are available today, I agree.

This for me too, songo on bench. but I'd consider giving ainsworth the start over Jarvis this week .

I definitely think that DA will select Songo'o in a midfield role. In an article in the WMNs today DA in conversation with CA has emphasised the ability of Songo'o to successfully complete passes. In last Saturday's game his completed pass percentage was 95% eclipsed that of Miller in second place, with Fox coming in third. Surprising stats in their own way.
