Points Away from 20th Position

Following on from the 51 points thread - 4 points from every 3 games now needed - here is another simple statistic we should track - points away from 20th position or "safety." Whether it's 4 points from every 3 games, ultimately we have to do better than the four teams above us.

So, starting from now played 14, we are -7 points from safety.

So mid table form between now and the end of the season should make us safe. Something like win 13 draw 5 lost 14. Sounds doable but it’ll be tough with only the 1 solitary win on the board so far. We somehow need to go on a little run of good results.

four points needed from every three games or to put it in simpler terms win one, lose one, draw one, every three games and continue that until the end of the season...

We have won 1 game out of 14 and now need to win at least 1 in 3.
That's a massive ask but the 6 pointer games against fellow strugglers will define the season.
Win ALL those games then we have a slim chance
