Hello peeps and welcome to your 50/50 brief. We had a great day out with the Seniors Greens on our trip to Portsmouth but unfortunately the lads could not get the result we were all hoping for. Saturday's match gives us a great chance to put that right and keep us in touch with a number of other teams in the lower section of the table. So come on you Greens.

At the recent Oxford match (we won’t mention the score) apart from taking the points, Oxford fans did very well indeed in our 50/50 draw when they won two of the prizes. James Lawson - a massive fan who follows his team everywhere - won tea for two at The Duke of Cornwall. James won’t be visiting Plymouth in the near future so he kindly gave his prize to the Oxford management to auction and raise funds for the youth department. James told me to thank the Ladies who sold him the winning prize and he was also full of praise for our stewards who escorted him not only to reception to collect his prize but for taking him to the club shop to purchase some items. He also mentioned the home fans he met on the day and hopes both teams do well for the season. Finally, James wished all the fans, staff and everyone involved with PAFC a Merry Xmas. Another Oxford supporter won the comedy tickets and kindly passed them to seller Helen to donate to a home supporter. Thank you very much indeed lads and I hope to meet up for a beer when we come up to play you in February.

Today is your last chance to win a pair of tickets for the Walsall match on New Year’s day, when your 50/50 are match ball sponsors and if the Oxford game is anything to go by you are in for a great day out. The winners for that game - when we were match sponsors - were full of praise for both the staff and of course the food. Terry and Linda Coombes were winners and here are Terry’s comments. “Thank you for a lovely day, my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed it, despite the early start to travel the 150 miles to get there. All the staff were very friendly as were the other guests and were obviously very committed to the club. The food was excellent and the tour really informative. Look forward to winning another package when the new stand is completed. In view of the result however I have told my wife that would be her first and last visit !!!!.” Brilliant.

I think you will all agree your 50/50 have some great prizes on offer again. Theatre Royal is back as well offering a pair of tickets to your choice from a list of shows with the lucky voucher. On a lighter note, today will be the last game for a few matches that seller Helen will be attending, as she came into the office at the last game all excited telling us she is off to Adelaide in Oz with daughter Courtney-Red for a dream holiday visiting her family. Have a great time Helen the wine is superb - enjoy.
