Thursday 4 January

Bolton have reportedly offered a contract to Toumani Diagouraga. Derek Adams is still hoping Diagouraga will stay at Argyle.

Tuesday 9 January

Nathan Blissett is wanted by National League clubs Macclesfield Town and Wrexham.

Bolton Wanderers, Wigan Athletic, Fleetwood Town, Southend United and Doncaster Rovers are all reportedly interested in signing Sonny Bradley.

Nadir Ciftci joins the Motherwell squad at a winter training camp in Tenerife ahead of a loan deal being announced on Wednesday.

Thursday 11 January

A seemingly far fetched story of Charlton and Wigan showing an interest in signing Graham Carey.

Former Argyle trialist Simon Church will come to the end of his short term contract at Scunthorpe next week.
Iron manager Graham Alexander has offered a new deal but admits Church is way down the pecking order for being selected for the first team and doesn't expect him to stay.
Church turned down the offer of a contract at Argyle in October and instead signed for Scunthorpe, making 6 substitute appearances plus one start in the EFL Trophy.

Friday 12 January

Another seemingly far fetched rumour - Portsmouth are ready to offer £250,000 for Sonny Bradley.

Sunday 14 January

Bradford City want to sign Ryan Taylor. Reports say Argyle can't sell right now but this might change.
Another report says Bradford have enquired about Taylor but he is unavailable.

It's confirmed that Nathan Blissett will join National League leaders Macclesfield Town on loan until the end of the season.

Former Argyle trialist Simon Church leaves Scunthorpe.

Tuesday 16 January

Scottish media report that former Aberdeen striker Simon Church could sign for Argyle after leaving Scunthorpe.

Church is now set to sign for Lechia Gdańsk in Poland.

Reports say Bradford have now made an official bid to sign Ryan Taylor.

Argyle have rejected the offer from Bradford for Taylor and have no intention of selling him.

Wednesday 17 January

Reports in Bristol say Argyle are about to sign defender Zak Vyner on loan from Bristol City. The 20-year old can play at right-back or centre-back and is a product of the Bristol City youth system.
Vyner has made 5 appearances for Bristol this season including an EFL Cup game against Argyle in August and also for Accrington (on loan) against Argyle last season.

The press in Kent have again linked Charlton with a move for Graham Carey, repeating previous reports that an offer has been made but concede this is unlikely given Charlton's financial situation.

Reports on a football transfer Twitter account states Argyle have made a bid for Luton Town midfielder Luke Berry.

Friday 19 January

Argyle are interested in signing Hednesford Town defender Callam Mendez-Jones.
The highly rated right-back is on non-contract terms at the Northern Premier side (level 7 in the league pyramid) and wouldn't attract a transfer fee.
The 21-year old was released by West Brom last summer and has played for England at under 16, 17 and 18 levels.
Crewe and Luton Town are also showing an interest in signing him.

Striker Simon Church signs for Argyle.

Wednesday 24 January

Bradford City have made an offer for Chesterfield striker Kristian Dennis. If the cash plus player offer is acceptable it might mean the end of Bradford's pursuit of Ryan Taylor, although Dennis is not a target man.

Thursday 25 January

Argyle are close to signing a midfielder on-loan from the Premier League.

Everton midfielder Conor Grant is named as the player coming in on loan. Grant has just finished a loan spell at Crewe and has also been on loan at Doncaster, Motherwell and Ipswich.
He played against Argyle for Doncaster last season.

Bradford City sign powerful German striker Kai Bruenker which should end their interest in Ryan Taylor.

Friday 26 January

Conor Grant's proposed move to Argyle has hit a stumbling block after it was discovered the midfielder had played a game for the Everton under 21 team against Notts County in the Checkatrade Trophy in August.
The rules only allow players to play for two clubs in a season and Grant has also been on-loan at Crewe.

Sunday 28 January

Derek Adams confirms he wanted to sign Conor Grant from Everton and admits Argyle made a mistake by not discovering Grant had already played for two teams this season.

Argyle have again been linked with a loan move for Bristol City striker Gustav Engvall.
Greek side Panathinaikos and Danish club Brondby are also interested in signing the 21-year old.
Gustav has already played for two clubs this season (Bristol City and Djurgaardens in Sweden) but there is an exception to the three club rule when a season overlaps into a season in a different country.

Monday 29 January

Liverpool centre-back Lloyd Jones has been linked with a loan move back to Argyle. The 22-year old started his career at Home Park before signing for Liverpool in 2011.
Hearts are also keen on signing him.

The Bristol media speculate that Bristol City striker Paul-Arnold Garita could return to Argyle on-loan.

Tuesday 30 January

Gregg Wylde joins Morecambe on-loan - confirmed.

Luton Town are now also interested in signing Liverpool centre-back Lloyd Jones.

Alex Fletcher's loan deal at Torquay United will not be extended. Fletcher will be available for selection for Argyle this Saturday.

Deadline Day

Sources at West Ham United suggest midfielder Moses Makasi and striker Antonio Martinez could join Argyle on-loan today.
Martinez, 20, scored three goals in 17 appearances while on-loan at Oxford United in League One last season and played for West Ham in their FA Cup defeat against Wigan last week.

Rumoured Argyle transfer target Lloyd Jones signs a permanent deal with Luton Town.

Walsall have made a £100,000 offer for Jake Jervis.

Two other unnamed clubs have now shown an interest in signing Jervis.

The loan deal for West Ham striker Antonio Martinez looks to be off.

Argyle still hope to sign West Ham team mate Moses Makasi on-loan.

Moses Makasi signs for Argyle on loan until the end of the season - confirmed.

Defender Jakub Sokolik has his contract cancelled by mutual consent and leaves Argyle.

Bristol City striker Gustav Engvall is still available for a loan deal, with Argyle one of the favourites to sign him.

Luton Town have met the £125,000 release clause in Jake Jervis' contract. Jervis is now on the way to Luton for a medical.

Argyle have been linked with a move for experienced Carlisle midfielder Kelvin Etuhu.

Luton Town announce Jake Jervis as a new signing on a two and a half year deal.
