Season's Greetings All,

Well Christmas would not be Christmas without recieving a demand from P and A on Christmas Eve for alledged monies owed to them whilst they were running the club.

I kid you not, this morning my wife recieved a letter dated 23rd December from Ashley Cooper at P and A demanding that we settle for an amount which they claim, according to their records, we are indebted to them from during the Admin Period.

There was no explanation of when, where or for what we owe them just an amount.

My wife then spent the next 2 hours trawling through all her paperwork (luckily she keeps everything) trying to ascertain what this mystery debt was for, as according to the letter they will only respond to any written queries from us.

We concluded from the amount they said was owing (and the fact that it was during the Admin Period) that their records show we owe them from when my son was Mascot at the Walsall game last season.

We have reciepts, cheque stubs and bank statements showing that this amount was debited from our account at the time and we have no recollection of owing P and A (or indeed PAFC in Administration) anything (paid cash for this season's STs).

So, why has it taken all this time to come to light, what was Guilfoyle's crack team during our time in admin to recover monies owed to the club? Hypothetically if I did indeed owe and now paid up, would that money go to clear Argyles debts or straight into P and A's coffers? Why are they still pursuing in the name of Argyle and when will this all be over?

And most importantly did we really as a fan base upset P and A enough that they had to wait to Christmas week to send these letters?

I apologise for dragging this all up, but this caused my wife some distress this morning and can anybody with a bit more knowledge of all things financial/admin process shed a bit of light of on this?

Lastly a very Merry Christmas to you all (Standfast P and A and Ebeneezer Guilfoyle).

As long as the amounts they demand tie in with the amounts you have proof of payment for I can't see anything wrong with just ringing them after the hols, explaining and asking for a letter of confirmation from them that you don't owe anything, or let them take you to court and then produce all the evidence

What a complete bunch of c***s. I'm partial to swearing so let's go for it, what a complete buch of f*****g c***s. You have a happy Christmas mate and they can shove their evil ways up their arris. This has maddened me. Time to sit down for a glass or two.

The idiocy and timing of this demand ought to receive the maximum amount of publicity to illustrate how heartless and incompetent this outfit are! :furious:

The name calling bit sums it up for me, that's what these people are.

I too have a letter from P&A today, for £220.00, I've no idea what it's about, as I owe no one anything.

They can whistle Dixie, but I'm not annoyed, I look forward to telling them to do one!!

What a bunch of schmucks!

After the year we've had they send these letters out to arrive on Christmas Eve; plain crazy and insensitive!

This has to be revenge for the Unleash the Dogs campaign.

There's a big negative news story here for the press to get hold of and will do a lot of damage to P and A (again).

I'd get the press involved. They'll soon wish they hadn't bothered.
