Pleased McCormick has been made club captain, the ideal guy for it but a bit surprised as well for obvious reasons.

Excellent choice. Nelson is a real work horse and IMO a player who always gives a solid consistent level of performances. Happy days! really excited for the new season.

Good choices, fully supported. I guess we'll soon see who the 'leaders' are on the pitch anyway, I suspect Hartley will be the voice. But if giving responsibility to Curtis brings on his game and maturity to the same extent it did with Conor, it can be no bad thing.

Agree with you XIsle I went for Hartley originally for his experience but like Nelsons demeanour and work ethic. Good news all around. Towards!!!!

In other words three pairs of hands lifting the League Two championship trophy in May. :)

Curtis and Luke are excellent choices. A big compliment to Curtis who is still only 21 but has over 123 appearances for the club.

Sorry. Club captain is the more official 'ambassadorial' role, whereas plain captain is the 'on pitch' armband wearing, coin tossing, picking ends guy.
