The team announcer was first class but the half time chap is still incoherent. Very disappointed at not acknowledging Johnny Newman as at the time had no idea who the guest was.Enough is enough! Please sack him Argyle! :thumbs:

I don't have a problem with either; they both do a very good job, although the guy you describe as first class had a few bloopers himself during both our home friendlies.

For some reason O'Connor has still not been welcomed to Home Park whereas other new recruits have been welcomed twice grrrr!!

Hartley didn't get a welcome on Saturday but did against Orient. Wonder who does his script?

Indeed, and both are volunteers that progressed through an audition for fans, if only the "experts" offered their services.
The team is doing well so there has to be another target. :facepalm:

To be fair, not for a second saying I could do any better but it does seem to be a little slipshood at times. Stuff like some players getting welcomed twice, some not at all etc. Perhaps having two announcers leads to a little mix-up of who's said what now and again?

The actual PA system seems markedly improved though, although still hardly crystal clear.
