Morgan for me, never stopped trying.. tired leading up to his substitution. Cox and Banton had good games, Alessandra and Mellor both very good in the second half.

Alessandra for me, with a honourable mention to Mellor, thought we looked great on the right in the second half.

I think it is crucial that both of our goals came from moves down the right hand side.

A few deserving of the award. Went for Morgan on basis he did more today than all of last season........

Could have been Morgan, but went with Nelson because he was superb all day against a decent player in Barry Corr.

However have to mention Mellor for his second half display which was amazing after a fairly poor first half.

Agree with consensus of Morgan deserving it, surprised he didn't get the award during the game. Also Nelson would be a closely second for dealing with Corr all game.

O'Connor for me. Didn't put a foot wrong. Would deffo have been Mellor if he'd had a better first half. His composure in setting up Lewi for the first was first class

Marvellous MORGAN for me. Honourable mentions for Nelson, Lewi and Cox.

Think we were flattered by playing against 10 men for 3/4's of the game and wasn't until the 2nd half that we asserted some control on the game.

First half was dreadful stuff, but in the second we really improved - play like we did in the second half today regularly and we'll win a lot more than we lose. We actually kept it on the deck, passed and probed: we should have the courage to play that way most of the time.

Going for Cox because I think he was the best over the 90 minutes. Really bossed the midfield in the second half and didn't put a foot wrong. Honourable mentions for O'Connor, Nelson, Mellor and Morgan - but everyone was good in the second half.
