This is an ongoing problem another dent in the relationship between the club and supporters, since they have been in charge they have done nothing for the average supporter, the original ideal was for the bricks to be incorporated in the new stand when it is built, somebody needs to tell James Brent that will save him a few quid in blocks.

" .... they have done nothing for the average supporter ..." except save our club but hey, that is no big deal.

As for brickwork, that does need pointing out ( :coat: ) to get rid of the :tumbleweed:

Alternatively, as I seemingly observe annually, if the folk who bought them umpty thrumpty years ago occasionally went to look at them and took five seconds to pull out the weeds round theirs, maybe their neighbour's too, there wouldn't be a problem.

I bought a brick. I don't recall any additional agreement was stipulated for anyone to undertake it's maintenance for eternity, nor any ongoing direct debit or standing order to pay for it. No, I go down there, pull out a weed or two. I don't moan about it, I don't bill the club, I don't lobby my MP to mediate or form a specialist interest pressure group.

Simple old fashioned personal responsibility from everyone would sort this out........but I'm sure I'll say the same again next year :roll:

{Ticker tape noise}

The weeds were sprayed last week and the bricks will be cleaned up when they die back.

I showed my James, and his young mate Oliver, the bricks the original Bananabus boys bought(including our original leader Clacky (RIP)) on the day of the Exeter match. The two youngsters said it needed weeding, but they loved the idea behind it and spent ages reading all the messages.
