Nah Exeter will win. Shrews may struggle too. Luton on the slide.

I've watched Exeter's last two home games. Wouldn't surprise me if their current run ends in a top three finish. Staying there would be hard, especially if they lost Grimes.
What are you doing on here ?

talking bowlacks!!

I've supported Argyle for 31 years, but still enjoy visiting other grounds, both locally and in London.

How much wishful thinking is in there ? Have you put an accumulator bet on ?

If there were any wishful thinking then surely I'd have Exeter to lose.

Accumulators? Hate them. Without a word of a lie, three times this season I've tried to pick every game in league two and three times one result has let me down.

Portsmouth, Luton and Exeter let me down. I've not bet on Plymouth since they scored three goals against Wigan in the last 10 minutes to win 3-2, can't remember the year but Wigan romped the league and we were relegated and playing so bad that I went with my head with an away win. Shouldn't bet on Exeter as I never give them a point :sigh:

Yeah, but really. Sid James park twice in a season!

I suspect we're different age groups and have a different outlook on the game and the way we support our club. I really enjoyed the days before crowd segregation, when you could have some great banter with opposing supporters, plus genuinely interesting discussion on how their team was progressing. Being an older bloke I find people strike up conversations with me wherever I sit, particularly London grounds, when I Visit West Ham, Orient, Charlton and Millwall (all timed to co-incide with no game at Home Park), when I visit my family up there.

Who would have said back in August that we'd be living in a world where a play-off semi-final or even final between Argyle and Exeter could be a distinct possibility by this stage?

I think segregation creates a better atmosphere, not sure I'd go to an away game just to sit in the middle of the home fans and therefore feel conscious about celebrating. I think mixed fans now would make football simply a family day trip event with no fire or passion. But I've argued that point to death on here and acknowledge I'm probably in a minority.

Argyle v Exeter at Wembley - now that would be an event worth watching.

Football is tribal warfare without the spears and the pre gig hallucinogens (cider/beer fills that gap), if I had to sit at football having a pleasant chat with oppo fans then it wouldn't work (with Argyle) but if you go to a 'neutral' match then it's fine
