Full time - lap of honour.

Not a moan as such but it baffles me why they need such a long gap between the final whistle and the lap of honour, the players waited on the pitch, only to be called in twice before eventually returning onto the pitch, by which time the ground was probably a 1/3 full if that. Anybody know the reasoning? Maybe something to do with the muppets who ran on the pitch?

Nice to Sheridan do the full lap though, wasn't expecting it if I'm honest.

What absolute tools they looked, running on the pitch - all seven of them. Got booed for it and then stuck their fingers up to the DE. Well done lads.

I think the Argyle players initially went down towards the tunnel to give the pitch over to Tranmere so that they could take the applause from the fans and then they came back out onto the pitch to allow Tranmere off first before following them in. I thought that was a nice touch.

Agree with above, and full respect to Tranmere fans who were appreciative of our successes during presentation ceremony and vociferous in support of their team during match. Very good away supporters imo.

Yeah, I thought that the constant 'murderer' chants during the two McCormick presentations were really respectful. They carried this on for most on the second half with a few of their fans having to be restrained by police and stewards every time he took a goal kick in front of the away end.

I too wanted to stay behind but just felt the hanging around took away the excitement id built up so I left only to walk into a bunch of thugs (grown men) from tranmere facing off with the police, who marched them away from the area, only to put them onto our bus into town with a police escort, then at royal parade they were escorted down to walkabout, admit no trouble mainly to the good work of D&C finest (yes actually applauding them.
Also a sobering moment seeing real Tranmere supporters wiping away a tear as they left when you think that could of been us on a couple of occasions.
