Some banter from the local newspaper in Exeter, you expect this type of thing from the Exeter fans but not from a newspaper. Odd.

We've set ourselves up for it. The hysterical reaction to a bit of singing - claiming it as a new anthem, Bob Marley banners, stickers etc laid us open to ridicule. You only had to look at Wycombe's fans sniggering at it last night and displaying mobile phone lights to work that out.

Three little birds was hyped up for a reason. Hope. It gave us hope as a football club and reminded us that these are only 2 more games. After years of dross, financial struggles and on the constant downward spiral, it showed solidarity and union from everyone in the ground and also everyone who couldn't be there that night. Everything you do in a football context is fair game for opposing fans. Some people went to their first game on Saturday, what an experience. Some people have been for 50 years and talking about that night.
