He's busy having a one man goal of the season competition, scored so many crackers and not even Xmas yet. Our most mercurial talent since Paul Dalton? He had a similar individual goal of the season year in 1993/94 with so many brilliant goals, often mazy dribbles.

In terms of mercurial talent you'd have to include Buzsaky. On his day he got carve apart other Championship teams, Carey is good but I'm not sure he would be quite as effective in the Championship.

True, Buzz on his day was unplayable, remember his two free kicks against Norwich. At this level, Paul McGregor had his moments also, not up to Carey's level but scored some crackers.

How do these performance related contracts work. Does he have to sign it? Or do they add a year on automatically if he hits the targets in his contract . Surely him and Jervis need to get signed on now before its to late.

Put him on ten grand a week, on a three or for year deal and then if someone wants him they'll have to cough up two or three million. It's the only way to get decent transfer fees now.

Cabbie....quite agree with your thinking, lets hope the Argyle board are on your wavelength, and I know they read this website,so maybe they are.......£10K a week has to be the
going rate for a player of his class....it would put off quite a few pretenders for his signature, and would guarantee a good transfer fee should he decide to move on...
