There is an interesting piece of editorial in The Game, which is the Monday football supplement to The Times.

It is rewarding to see that DA looks upon the long distance travelling by Argyle to away games as a positive factor in as much that he feels it enhances team bonding on the long coach journeys.

Another step he takes is that he is in charge of the hotel rooming list when the team is forced to stay away overnight.
He makes it his business to ensure that no cliques develop with 2 players insisting they share together a room every time and that from [say] fortnight to fortnight each player has a different rooming mate, so that they grow to understand each other's background, likes and dislikes. He contends that this adds to the bonding process with a resultant positive influence on the team performance. All in all, good management stuff.

Nice one. Simple but effective from DA. It's the little things that contribute to the bigger picture.

DA seems to really have his head screwed on well, and it's a great confidence booster to read something like this. Couldn't have imagined Mr. Sheridan thinking so tactically about things, sadly...

Having read original post tried to buy the paper but sold out.
Great man management.
Don't think he's put a foot wrong since he arrived.
