Is the young Evans any relation to Micky? The one fourth from the left back row is the spitting image of Micky.

Such a shame we always do so well at this competition but our youngsters rarely get a chance to shine in the first team. Scottish Mourinho indeed.

Had the pleasure of watching these youngsters play today....put in a great team performance and too strong for their South American opponents in all areas of the park. As the scoreline suggests we took our chances well and there were some cracking goals amongst them coupled with a strong defence and fluid midfield. Probably more at home playing in typical Northern Irish chilly and damp "summer" day conditions than the Colombians who showed some flashes of individual skill but collectively proved no match for our higher level of physicality, teamwork and sharpness in front of goal.
Glasgow Rangers are next up....that will prove I am sure an altogether different challenge!.
Well done lads ....Proud to be a Pilgrim.

You said you'd go Peter, glad you made it. Remember mate, yours and others generosity helped to get them there.

I am sure all the pilgrims who have contributed financially to help make this tour happen will take immense satisfaction from seeing our youth set -up produce a great squad of lads and coaches who represent Argyle so professionally and gain invaluable experience in a very competitive tournament. Glasgow Rangers have a very strong following here and there will be a good sized crowd supporting them...a different experience from local South West games which can only benefit their overall development.
