With all this excitement having win 3 games on the trot with some indifferent performances, but hey a wins a win, hasn't anyone got any news on Karleigh Osborne???

He was the player most seemed excited about during the pre season signing period yet we've seen nothing off him as yet and no news as to when he may actually put a shirt on.

Originally it was a thigh strain but seriously, 8 weeks for a thigh strain?? Even Theo Walcott would've be back by now...

Osbourne has tweeted that he is now back in full training.
Adams has said he will use the SWPL games to get him some match fitness. The next couple of SWPL games are away to Falmouth on Saturday and Witheridge on the 6th Sept.

I was at Marjon and overheard a member of the public speaking to Karleigh Osbourne.

I'd would say the following....
a) He's a big unit
b) He seemed a very friendly and polite person from the little I heard.

I'm good mates with a Bristol City fan who's comments were ' he is better than Nelson', 'I expected us to keep him but if not would have thought top half of league 1', 'He's one of the nicest blokes you'll ever meet in football'.

Looking forward to seeing him play (finally).

I assume the first few games have been played with one of our backup centre halves which goes to show the wisdom in having a squad where the replacements are also good enough for this league. Should help when injuries and suspensions hit the squad which seemed to derail us badly last season.

How much of Nelson has this man seen to make such an informed comparison?

I've dragged him along to 6 or 7 matches whilst down. Including the 2 playoff semis, so he's seen his share.

He came over very well at Senior Greens last month.
Let's hope that his fitness problems are behind him.
