I'm surprised Songo'o hasn't got more votes. He stood up to the physicality of Newport with clearing headers and tackles which allowed our more creative players to play the football.

I'm not saying he's a bad player, but central midfielders have to have good positional sense both in attack and defence. Songo'o doesn't.

For the substitutes, I thought Jake Jervis was outstanding - in his determination, winning tackles, and quickly leading attacks.

Carey was disappointing at times with misplaced passes.
