Have you noticed how all those easy lower level teams we beat won today. Orient, Blackpool, Yeovil, Cambridge, Cheltenham and Notts County. So much for our flukey position. And where have all those Pompey visitors to our site gone? Ah, deep joy.

They are probably on County's boards wondering how on earth they lost the game as they were when they lost to Donny. It's incredible how everything can conspire to leave such an outstanding team languishing 11 points behind us.
I enjoy being 11 points above Pompey as much as the next person.
I would however point out that last season we had a much healthier point advantage at times, yet we ended up at Fratton Park kicking off in the play-offs as equals.
Point is, pride comes before a fall, and we fell last time round. Before we 'lord it up' over others maybe we should remember that and keep our pride quiet, wear it on the inside save for a broad smile :smile:

Other teams below Argyle are also in good form.
There is a 9 point gap between Argyle and 4th place. We saw last season how the table can change very quickly after a couple of straight defeats. And that's probably going to happen at some point.
The point I'm making is that Argyle NEED to keep winning if they are going to finish in the top three. There are plenty of competitive teams in the upper part of this league.

It's Saturday night. I'm sure we can be excused a Gloatette, just one at a time to keep it below the radar though 
Far from crowing after last season's collapse. My comments were aimed more at the condescending and superior attitude of the Pompey fans on here last week.
