"And Garita, who signed on loan from Bristol City in the summer, has still made no progress on the hamstring complaint he incurred during the club's Devon Derby victory last month."

This doesn't sound good...have a feeling we wont be seeing him again for a while.

Hopefully by November 12th, when we play Crewe, Garita will be back.

That means he will miss a further 2 weeks, and 3 games. Crucially though only one league more league game.

Although he does sound bad the way it's worded like "still made no progress" almost sounding it could be a month or so and not weeks.

I know Argyle are getting results without him but he really adds something different to the team.

By the wording of the report it sounds like both have got pretty bad injuries, which must be of great concern. Garita most certainly adds something different to the team.

On the positive side, it stops other teams trying to sign him and maybe if Argyle can his extend the loan in January he will be an important player for the second half of the season. If Garita was scoring bags of goals for Argyle right now, he would probably end up playing for another team after Christmas or be recalled to Bristol City.

My thoughts precisely! Not a deliberate ploy??

It was evident from the Matchday memories coverage that Garita knew straight away it was a bad one.

We only have him until January anyway so a decision may have to be made if there is no sign of improvement in next week or so as to the value of keeping him.

Can't see why we wouldn't wish to keep Garita if fit by January, even though he has very little pro football match experience.

Brunt's remaining path back to match fitness might not be a simple one. And we've no other Heskey-type forward.

Puzzling. It's a hamstring. There must be some progress.

With the change to the loan system I think I'm right in saying we can't sign anyone else until January even on loan, with this in mind even if Garita is only fit for December it would be worth keeping him rather than letting him go back and then being short.
