Changing Under 18 Ticket to Adult vs. Liverpool?

Basically, I've got an Under 18 ticket here but the Under 18 can't go.. However, another Under 18's dad wants to go with his son to the match, is there any way of 'upgrading' a ticket to an adult? I can't see why this should be a problem as its still a seat, and tomorrow it's going to be madness trying to sort an issue like that out!

Would really appreciate any advice!

They will probably just scan it on turnstile and wont even look at whether its adult or child......but to be safe would pop up office tomoro and upgrade it to adult. If they dont let u i wouldnt hand the ticket back in but keep it and try option 1..

Just ask the question at ticket office before producing the ticket !

Surely if you give the ticket office a ring, they will be able to resolve your problem, and you will be able to collect your new ticket from them tomorrow.

Did the same this week, went up to the ticket office and they upgraded the ticket straight away with me paying the difference. You'll have no problems with that.
