Good morning all
There is strong support developing for Offside Trust which is a foundation devoted to protecting children within sporting 'clubs' throuout the U.K.
You may be aware that a former player came forward with his story of abuse within football followed shortly by another three former players, one of those Players was Steve Walters (Mego was the nickname we gave him) he was a youth player at Crewe Alex. who is originally from Prince Rock, he played for England at youth level and went on to be a very good player. He bravely shared the story of the abuse at the hands of a coach while in the youth system at Crewe.
You can find Offside Trust on the usual social media sites, I'm fairly sure that PAFC are not currently commited to this BUT many of the 92 league clubs now are.
I'd like to call on us as supporters and the club to embrace the Offside Trust to protect our children now and in the future
