Brian will be sadly missed. Anybody who thought that all football supporters were hooligans had obviously never met Brian. A true gent and you were unlikely to meet a more intelligent and polite football supporter, whos oppinion was well respected and company sought. Deepest condolences to his family and hope to meet his grandson in the far post soon. It was a pleasure knowing him. Good bye Brian.

I've just received the following message. Rest in peace Brian.

A message composed by Linda and Kevin Pedley, the daughter and brother of Brian Pedley:

On the penultimate day of his life, in the company of his family, Brian listened to 'Sparksy' commentating on the Stanley game from his bed with the radio at full volume. As we all know this was another disappointing result, upon hearing the boos emanating from the radio at the end of the match Brian's eyes partially opened and a wry smile appeared on his face, he understood the fans frustrations, it was probably the only time we laughed out loud following an Argyle defeat! Despite the vagaries of following 'The Greens', in particular the emotional roller coaster of recent years, he remained staunch in his support. He relished each match day, especially being in the company of real football supporters who exemplified the true spirit of 'Semper Fidelis'.

COME ON YOU GREENS!!

Wonderful

And explains so much for so many of us.

RIP Brian

RIP Brian,
Take you place in the terraces in the sky.
My thoughts with his family, especially his daughter and brother, after such a touching tribute at such a difficult time

I was in the same year, at school, as Brian (Devonport High School) - sad to hear the news. Condolences to Brian's family.
