I really and truly celebrated that 4th goal.
Strangely enough, I was only talking about these games with the Leicester city supporting taxi driver who was driving me to derby train station this morning.

What a shame.
I can remember him having a few really good games for us back then.

thanks to GOS, we did beat Leicester 4-0 at home on 28 dec 1987.
Dougie scored 1, sir TT 2 and Mark Smith 1.

earlier in the season we had lost 4 0 at filbert street.
My old boss being a Leicester fan, mad me sit with him in the double decker home stand to watch the match.

Fortunately, I made him sit in the mayflower stand for the return match.

Yes I was at that game and Remember Dougie Scoring a Great Goal

Dougie Anderson RIP

Genuinely shocking news. Dougie had some good games in an Argyle shirt and once saw him really emphasise the difference between pro and amateur football in a match against our Sunday league team. 52 is no age at all, very sad day.

RIP Dougie

Sad news and such a young age.

RIP Pilgrim.
