Sadly, my father in law Jock Priest passed away on Monday after a short illness. A season ticket holder in the Devonport End, he was an ex Royal Marine and Torpoint ferry man. Coming from North Wales and having being in the Navy only for a short while I had no great affinity with Plymouth, but he introduced me to Argyle in the 70s, and I have him to blame for my green blood. When he fell ill in the close season his aim was to be at the first home game against Pompey, “I need to get my wee legs stronger” he used to say. Sadly it was not to be as he wasn’t well enough. His last game was the play off at Wycombe. RIP Jock, you’ll be missed by so many.

RIP Jock, a great character who will be sadly missed by all that knew him.

My condolences to the whole family.

Rest easy Royal.
