Really pleased for Louis,he is from Torpoint and we always chatted on the ferry when going to games.A real nice lad and just a shame that Derek did not rate him.Wishing him success with the team.

Maybe...just maybe, Rooney was never Football League quality?

And it's not Derek Adams's fault that this was the case.

Tyler Harvey made fifty appearances for Argyle in the football league, appearances in the first team do not always bring a player up to speed.

Spotting which lads have potential and which don't is a very difficult skill. Gifted scouts and youth coaches are treasured for this reason.

Came on as a 63rd minute sub and scored in the 85th. You can see his goal here, about 6m 33s on the clock.

They certainly get their M's and their N's mixed up in Ulster!

Someone call the fire brigade, Louis Rooney is on fire! Blayney spills it and Rooney nicks in for his second on 77 mins. 3-1 Linfield

His first was a penalty, 7 goals in 5 games so far

It's good to see Louis Rooney doing well.

Some people may say well it's only Linfield, but at least he knows where the goal is, after all goals win games!!

He scored a well taken penalty and his second was a keeper error. Highlights here:
