T'was a balmy eve I took my plastic temporary seat in the away end at Stadium Barnett and Copthall in 2005. To see the 50 year old legend Taribo West stride on to the field. Half gazelle and half giraffe, just 3 years earlier at the age of 25 this man had won the Olympics. As he was run ragged for Barnet's 1st goal I joined him in prayer. Luckily it worked and Akos Buszaky scored the best free kick that Barnett will ever see. Thanks Taribo! But where is he now?
