I think he had a great game yesterday. Doncaster gave up challenging him in the air and just tried to cut off the flick ons. Rory realised this and brought the majority of balls down on his chest when he had the time and played nice simple passes.
Glad he got that goal again. There's a guy in front of me who seems to abuse Fallon seconds before he grabs a goal! _________________ Voted 43rd Most Intriguing Forum Member by Time Magazine, 2010.

Sturrock really should be less vocal. _________________ Players lose you games, not tactics. There's so much crap talked about tactics by people who barely know how to win at dominoes:

More comebacks than Lazarus ever managed. That's because good players never lose it and Cillian Sheridan is not as good at what they (are supposed to) do as Rory Fallon.
With a new coach on board maybe, just maybe, Sturrock will be talked out of his farcical mindset that after a poor TEAM perfromance "thou shalt drop Rory Fallon" .
If Rory Fallon plays badly then drop Rory Fallon but over 90 minutes that's rarely the case so Luggy - if the team plays poorly blast the team and not your scapegoat.
Good luck Rory for NZ . |
