What the hell are we doing playing 'We are the champions' over our tannoy system when we've just been relegated ....in all my 49 years I've never been so p*ssed off with the way our club portrays itself to the rest of the football world ......what do they expect us to do ...lets all party with Newcastle !!!

I hope that Argyle fans let the people who run our club in such an amateurish manner know their feelings at the final home game. I know that I certainly will!

never seen anything like it. i would say unbelievable, but you know what, this board are so flipping removed from the real world and the fan base it is not.
what really gripes my shit is the fact that our board appear not to care for the lifeblood of this team, this is one PISS TAKE too far

I felt the same, we've just suffered the indignity of being relegated and some wise ass plays "We are the Champions", crass and insensitive!
At least wait until the Argyle fans have left the stadium or let Newcastle have their own party at their stadium.
I didn't like the banner paraded around the ground before kick off - "Congratulations to Newcastle from the Green Army".
Argyle were just the side show tonight.

Our club is a utter disgrace, will not be coming back next year. The fact we have just been relegated so they play we are the champions takes the pi$$, shows live to the country what a joke our club is

I thought from far afield that the club showed a lot of class by playing that song for the Champions of the league.
It was great to see the pitch invasion and there to be no trouble, great finish on the tv to what is a very sad night for us all.
Your anger is being mis-directed.
ps, just been on the Rangers forum follow follow, the gers fans are comending Plymouth for playing we are the champions, they were wondering if the Hibees will do the same on sunday!!!!  NOT. |

I`m so embarrassed ! We welcome the them onto the pitch with a " Well Done / Don`t worry we`ve lost 10 games already here this season so we are easy pickings at home banner "
Then after the usual 90 mins of Home fodder we have ready all the music for them to enhance their moment of glory as we go down.
God this is truely awful, but Hey, no surprise after the Marcel Seip playing against us and scoring for Blackpool..
The Club i`ve supported all my life is an Utter Shambles !!
Sat here in Bedford miles away from the debacle thinking can this be real !!! |

Seriously, what other club in the country, having been relegrated at home would roll out the red carpet and play 'party tracks' within seconds of the final whistle... ??? I doubt there would be a single other one.
Two fingers to the fans that says so much more about the shambolic way the club is run. |

We're back where we belong get in Newcastle
On a side note hats off to Plymouth Argyle, thought they were excellent! A nice well done Newcastle at the start of the game & once the game was up the party tunes came over the PA!
Glad to see not every team who plays in Green & white arn't juan kerrs like celtic & hibs
