Ha, like your thinking, but in reality it's 3 - 0 for second prize!

As PL has said, that one day squad could mostly have been in the Test team!

Agree. Bairstow can still play as a batsman and Buttler can keep wicket. We kept hearing that Wood wasn't fit enough to play in the Test series but he seems fit enough to bowl at pace, he was the missing bowler we really needed in the Ashes.
The one day squad is so full of confidence (except for Ali) in stark contrast to the Test squad.
Why can't Roy or Hales open in a Test match? The selectors seem to think the Test squad should be full of batsmen who hang around for hours for 30 odd runs.


Completely agree with you on the openers, we have Cook who does that job brilliantly and can be the anchor around the likes of Roy and Hales, this would then free Root up to stay at 4 where he is probably best positioned too!
