Well, the first launch has taken place so let's start the thread - although if last season is anything to go by, none of us will be getting round to posting much!

The newly launched black and gold-liveried Haas car reminds me of the old all-conquering JPS Lotus

I always forget how tiny the old F1 cars were!

I've been waiting for this to start!
Love the haas car livery, all other teams launch this week ahead of pre-season testing on the 18th - live on sky for the first time - really excited about this season!!

Looks a bit like the old Benson & Hedges livery!! Apart from that it's smart.

I like the look of the Williams. It’s good that cars are getting stand-out liveries. How often does a car look great close up, but they all blend in with each other when on the track.

Anyone seen the reported leaked pics of the Merc??

Just seen some pics online. It looks very cool and sleek, as does the Renault. Yes, the Williams is looking far less anaemic now, with its new sponsor and radically altered livery, and the Toro Rosso looks, uh, OK.

Ooooowww, I'm not sure about the new Red Bull "one off" livery, though. It just ain't Red Bull to me.

Maybe it will grow on me when I see it in action - I hope so.

I really like the Red Bull livery, shame its just for testing but they always have some kind of one off livery for the pre-season testing!

The new Force India looks good, slightly less pink and the blue seems to work well with it!

Ah, I misunderstood. I thought it was a season-long one-off to mark their new Honda partnership (or something). Yes, just for testing as usual. Good. (So, er, we disagree completely there!)

I think the Racing Point (Force India) livery is an improvement on last year, but how could it not be? It looks a bit of a jumble to me, though.

The Red Bull has a busy livery to camouflage the aero details, they had a zebra paint job last year. I’d like to keep that, but would be crap for their sponsors so not likely.

Williams missing the first day of testing is poor, lets hope its not a sign of whats to come for them this season although I struggle to see who they'll beat this season.

McLaren didn’t break down, what’s going on there?

Neither did either of the Honda powered teams! Ferrari look quick but they might just be headline chasing, Mclaren were 2nd fastest today, can't see that happening in Australia though!

Williams to miss tomorrow as well, Sky hinting that they might not even be ready for Wednesday. If it wasn't for her surname, I think Claire Williams position would be under serious pressure.

Ferrari and Mercedes look super reliable in testing. Not buying the hype that Ferrari are going to walk the championship already....Mercedes have barely got going. The fact that Bottas did a 1.18.360 on the second fastest tyres (C2) says to me they have a fast car on their hands and are just hiding the true pace of the car.
Renault look fast but unreliable and Red Bull should be more of a threat at circuits not beginning with M (Monaco and Mexico) for a change!
