He lasted a year at Milton Keynes before moving further north to Tranmere, I expect him to last a year at Argyle and if he gets us promoted then brilliant! At the moment he has a promotion and a relegation against his name as manager although he was only in the job for five months when relegated.

I don't think he's a long term appointment especially for the criteria of managing 'all aspects of the club'.
We'll probably be his gap year before heading back up north to a more settled and stable Bury with hopefully an Argyle promotion on his CV.

Hallett is committed to a long term appointment. So you are suggesting he doesnt know what he is doing....

Yes 'for whatever reason'! You dont appear to know so its not such a simple answer perhaps.

Problems tend arise because of allocated seating, whilst I’m not saying they should have to, people who had seats in that area didn’t move because of their loyalty to a seat they’ve never seen nor sat in, which I do find a bit odd. More problems/arguments would have come about if the stewards tried to enforce the allocated seating.

If all away ends were unreserved (obviously excluding disabled areas) then everyone’s preference would be catered for.

It wouldn't though. Even with unreserved seating groups of lads turn up, drunk, at 2.45/2.50 expecting to all stand together. I witnessed it with you a couple of seasons back when you were abusing people for not moving.
A lot of people, when buying away tickets, ask the club for the layout and buy a ticket for the area they want. If it's unreserved, they get there early to make sure they get the seat they've chosen. They don't then expect to move to accomodate a few drunks.

Agree. The group of well oiled lads turning up at 2.45 and then standing all together in an area of just a few seats has been a problem at away games for a while.

I thought the stewards were poor on Saturday - they allowed gangways and steps to be blocked and were not interested in the state of the seats that were filthy and covered in bird sh1t.

 Its not the job of stewards to clean seats.

I think we are close to being a very good team that is also entertaining to watch.

We know that! We dont need stats to tell us.

Incredible to me how such a gifted player doesn't apparently spend any time working on such a weak point as his left peg.
But given his one-footedness, it's a mystery to me why the manager doesn't play him on the right-hand side, at least for part of the match, where he might actually get a cross in or have a shot at goal.
A real pity and waste of a superb talent at the present time, he is simply not an effective player currently.

'Not an effective player'. Some people just dont watch the game.

He’s one of those players that get you off your seat !!

He wont go! Dont listen to this nonsense from Tranmere or the more deluded posters on here.

It'll be hilarious if Exeter miss out after being in the top three all season, but it'd be hard to make a case that Bolton and Southend deserve to be in League One next season more than the Greasy Ones.

I accept that getting the entire season finished will be a bridge too far, but it'd be achievable to throw the teams currently in playoff places into a mini-tournament with those currently in relegation spots. Put them in a round-robin and those who finish in the top three go into League One next season. You could get that done in a fortnight.

Sounds very easy. Oh by the way you may not have heard but there is some virus going around.

The chances of catching it are very small and, unless you are in a very vulnerable group, the chances of dying from it are tiny. I suspect that the chances of dying in a road accident on the way to a match are vastly greater than the risk of dying from CV as a result of catching it as a result of being there - even in a big crowd.

The fact is that many people die in this country every year (around 600,000). It's what mortals do.

Yes, lots of people have died, but in percentage terms, the numbers are tiny. I do feel that as a nation we need to get a grip. Sad to say, as a British patriot, but other countries seem to have got this into a much better perspective than us.

You said it yourself. 'Lots of people have died'. 'Unless you are in a vulnerable group'. Oh so both are ok then? :banghead: And the chances of catching it are NOT' very small'. You are an idiot.

Perhaps the question is: would we do the same if we were sat next to the person instead of at a keyboard?
We might say we didn't agree, but we probably wouldn't insult them.

I wouldn’t sit next to an idiot !
