Just watching the test match.

What is this crap, of numbers and names on the back of the shirts.
Looks awful, sacrilege to test cricket

Get rid now.

I thought the same.

Anyway, a good start by England, love the crowd waving sandpaper when the first two cheats were out.

Yep, brilliant same when Smith gets out.

Warner will get some dog abuse all summer, and he deserves it.

A very good rescue innings from Smith, it puts the Aussies slightly ahead but after winning the toss and batting you would expect a par score of around 300 anyway.

It is about time that Anderson learnt how to warm up properly. Same applies to several of the England team.

Four overs then injures his calf!!!!!!!!!! Go to a football coach and learn how to warm up and warm down!

Agreed, it's shocking. Hope enough people complained to have them removed.

Poor umpiring again today when Root was given 'out' in the first session. Given out for caught behind when in fact the ball clipped the stumps but didn't dislodge the bails.

Close 267/4.

England need lead of near 100 unless we get Smith out cheaply.

What a knock from Burns today. This is such an intriguingly poised Test isn't it? I won't feel remotely confident unless we have a lead of at least 100, given Steve Smith's genius and England's batting fragility (and the uncertainty around Anderson's fitness). The first session tomorrow will be crucial.

Australia
284 & 487/7d * (112 ov)

England

England 1-0 down in the series then.
