Quite right. If we have a government at all, which seems doubtful, it seems to be practicing the Chaos Theory.

We all know what his nickname was in the NHS. Sorry Mr Fear, you come across as a bit of a know all who is going to be lecturing us all for weeks on end. You’ve already made your mind up, so I won’t be bothering to comment on anything you say from now on. At least I’m prepared to hold judgement on Boris and his people until such time as there’s anything to judge him on. However, I’ve already decided that you are a bit of a cod piece unfortunately.

Don’t you just love it when people who know the square root of f-all slate hard working government ministers and their advisers who are working around the clock to come up with well evidenced solutions to very serious problems. Some need to reserve their judgement until there is actually any evidence that Boris and co have got it wrong. To date, all I see is that our mortality rate is among the lowest in Europe, including our near neighbours France who have a similar population in about four times the space.
If history shows that Boris and his government got it seriously wrong, then the electorate will let them know in due course. Of course, there will be some who are very seriously concerned that he may get it spectacularly right, making him even more popular than he is already with said electorate.

Exactly. I started this thread as humour to lift the prevailing virus gloom with an Argyle link. The thrust of it has drifted into a political squabble and it is a pity the admin dept has not scotched it by keeping it on track in the spirit it was started.
