Agreed, any party political stuff , promoting a particular political view is clearly not appropriate, but everything else affecting our lives is political. Personally I don’t support any party, but having an opinion on the government/football authorities etc in connection with argyle and the return to football is surely ok? Being critical based on evidence rather than political dogma regarding decisions affecting football, isn’t that what it’s all about.? People can agree / disagree / not bother to read it.

You might notice that there’s no arguing, no sarcasm, no provocation.
You could try it sometime. It might make you feel better.

They’ve as much right to be on the forum as the spot the frog type stuff, at this time when there’s not much football news to talk about. Music tends to unite people. Thankfully, the site managers appear to agree.
:sigh:

Ooooooh, arguing and sarcasm the devil’s own work!
So if we can have music and hidden frogs threads why can’t we talk about the authorities and their actions in connection with the resumption of the footy season as long as we don’t spin any political party line ?

Because as the moderators have quite correctly pointed out, it causes aggravation and you’re still at it now, the pair of you.

Because the Moderators allow the music ones BG. It's really as simple as that.

It's good to have threads were all of us bump along together. The fact that you could start an argument in a telephone box hasn't gone unnoticed by anyone.

If you don’t like it don’t read it, I think there’s been some interesting stuff here in amongst the petty bickering.
But going to the effort of posting merely “what a pathetic thread” and “is really Really tedious “ adding zero input to the forum is the definition of a pathetic and tedious post. I mean what could be more tedious and pathetic than posting nothing!
Back to football and I see the prem are threatening to relegate the bottom 3 if they don’t agree to neutral grounds. I think that’s good news as one way or another they want relegation and promotion, EFL will have to follow suit in all leagues to maintain integrity whether games are played or not

Exactly. I have made the effort to try to start a football thread which has been highjacked. I dont see Forest of Green or Plymouth 1970 offering anything constructive in the way of discussions/threads/dialogue...

Takes 2 to make an argument. So the answer is 'because it is'.
