I've checked my drawer and my socks are almost equally divided between right and left except for a few comrades lost in the Great Washer/Drier Revolutionary War.

I tend to find my sock drawer has no particular left or right leaning until I dictate their individual direction at the beginning of the day. Although there are many in there that have lost their soles to the everyday trudgery of the walk of life, and I'd be darned if I could pull them back up.

And what's all this about black socks these days? What's wrong with white socks? They were just fine when I was young. Now it's all black socks this, black socks that, and white socks don't get a fair shake.

All socks matter. Just saying. Common sense. Voice of reason. Independent thinker.

It takes all socks to make a world.
