Utterly ridiculous. Complete waste of money.

Is David Hockney doing it??

Johnson so shallow. Remember Thatcher kicking up a fuss about the BA makeover??
He just wants to be 'famous' for such moments.

And Boris is sticking with the amount of Foreign aid we give so money can't be that short.

I don't know about how much it costs to paint a plane, but a decent car paint job is well into the thousands. Even a bumper is a couple hundred quid and that's on plastic

The plane needs painting due to its age and ongoing maintenance. It makes no difference to the public purse whether it’s red, blue, grey or any other colour.

Does that change anyone’s opinion on this?

I was under the impression that the Voyager in question is still part of the RAF's air-to-air refuelling fleet as part of its day job. Not saying the crabs can't free up this plane up, but surely it should remain in it's traditional colour scheme in case it's needed operationally?

Thing is, Boris saw Air Force One and he wants one!!
Uncle Dominic said: 'Stop blubbing, loser (channeling The Donald) and we'll get you your own pretty plane'.

So .... it's Government policy now!

Then again, the US of A doesn't have a Queen and our Queen doesn't have a plane, so we're hoping Raab and Hancock can sort out the policy detail, they are sooooo good at detail!!
