Who is it that decides when players take the knee?
Argyle & Ipswich didn't
Crewe & Argyle did.
There have been other games when it wasn't done.
So who decides?
The Club's,the Ref, the players?

Does it matter, who decides.

If the players want to take the knee, that’s fine. What’s the problem with that.

I question why do some people have an issue with it, is it they don’t like it ??

Blimey, this is why we have big problems of race in the country, you see some Muslim players, say a prayer as they walk onto the pitch, do you want to stop that ??

What is wrong with people, it is not doing any harm what so ever., it is sending a message for people to come together.
Long may it continue,

A quote from Patrisse Cullors,
"We do have an ideological frame. Myself and Alicia, in particular, are trained organizers; we are trained Marxists. We are superversed on, sort of, ideological theories. And I think what we really try to do is build a movement that could be utilized by many, many Black folks."

You ask what ls the problem with that, & then demonstrate what is the problem. If someone chooses to question it, they get shouted at. Imagine you're a player who disapproves of what you see as a political gesture. It would take guts to (literally) stand for your beliefs when other players are kneeling. Peer pressure must, in some cases at least, override actual conviction. Billy Vunipola & others have associated the knee with a malevolent political ideology, & chosen not to do it. I have chosen not to watch football while they do it for the same reason... I will now expect the usual form of "discussion" from the left, ie to be shouted at till I go away.

History seems to be full of simple, single issue movements which get hi-jacked by those with a different agenda. Wikipedia suggests that Patrisse Culors main aim is to spread the truth, as she sees it, of Marx, Lenin, and even Mao!. She even suggests that we Europeans should be paying reparations to black Americans for our colonial role in the slave trade. A bit like us billing the French for the cost of building all those coastal forts when Napoleon was preparing to invade us.

The miner’s strike failed because of a leader whose real aim was to overthrow capitalism. Labour lost an election because Derek Hatton created the impression of a looney left, out of control. Corbyn lost the last election partly because he failed to recognise the many anti-semites who had infiltrated his party. I could go on.

I don’t think any footballers think beyond a desire to keep racism out of football when they take a knee, and to to smear their simple, heartfelt action by associating it with the actions of a few hangers-on nutters is just silly.
When a man is tired of Chudleigh, he’s tired of life.

So back to my original question, which no one answered.

WHO decides?

It wasn't done at the Milton Keynes game - but it was at the Bristol Rovers game.

Really, who cares, if the players want to do it, fine.

Why is it bothering you, to me it should be done at EVERY game.

You should be asking, why is it not at every game,
