Bit of a wild subject to kick things off but I notice the weather's getting colder, left for work this morning and it was still dark enough for the motion sensitive light to be set off...

Moths and all, one was in the house the other day, I captured him in a glass and took him outside, walked back inside and noticed he'd only pretended to fly away out of my eyeline before going full circle on me and ended up coming back into the house with me attached to the back of my leg.

I had to have a word, he may have out smarted me this time but if he tried anything funny again he'd be flattened there and then.

My wife was complaining a bit about the cold this morning.

I think she wants me to turn the central heating on.

I'm not going to, my opinion is that it's not cold enough yet.

It also looks like it might rain a bit so I haven't washed my car as I was intending to do.

Wife keeps mentioning spiders in the house, apparently there are three dotted around. Surprised she hasn't moved in with her mum!!

Saw a beauty in the garden the other night, one of them there big ones that are big enough to have visible spots on their legs (didn't tell the wife about that one)

Got decking arriving later today. Thats my weekend sorted.

Over the last week I must have hoovered up about seven of those little bar stewards!

Just saw my neighbour Sean for the first time in about 2 months. He didn't see me.

Hmmm interesting, did he really not see you or just pretended not to?

Were you incognito?

Decking is here, made its way all the way from Hull with free delivery. Cost £5 to get the same delivered from 2 miles down the road. Economics innit

We had our first frost last night forgot to bring in some of the tropical plants.

I went into Tesco in Dereham (pronounced Dare um in these parts) on Saturday and they had a Christmas tree with all the trimmings up.

Did you not point him in the direction of the calendar isle?

I reckon either my generation or at the very least my children's generation will see the day where shops never take their Christmas decorations down. "How can I bring children into such a world?" I ask myself on an almost non-daily basis.

My fiancee has bought all the Christmas cards already that she needs this year. They're in a shoebox marked 'cards', second drawer down in the kitchen.

I also have all the Christmas cards I need. There's not many, in fact there aren't any at all. I delegate all that sort of thing to wifey.

I've turned into a 'Bah Humbug' sort of person as I've got older. Suits me fine.

This is more like it.
