Watched former Pres. Obama deliver a eulogy at the funeral of Congressman John Lewis on TV yesterday. He was eloquent, dignified and statesmanlike, every inch what you would expect of a President of the USA. What a contrast!

I sincerely hope Jim Jordan has been enjoying the kind of company of his fellow congressman in the manner he denied knowledge of from his college coaching days and really suffers.

I try to resist the temptation to wish ill on people but in purely practical terms, if playground idiots like Jim Jordan and that utter dickhead Ron DeSantis, Florida's governor, end up getting seriously ill with Covid it might actually end up saving tens of thousands of lives in finally waking up all those freedom-loving cretins who see masks as an infringement of their constitutional rights and vaccinations as an evil government mind-control plot.
Not that I'm actually terribly bothered about that demographic staying healthy, mind - if anyone has to get ill, it really should be them. No, I'm far more concerned about the unnecessary burden on the poor health workers who have to try to save their stupid, entitled, dumb-ass lives.
(And I'm stone-cold sober!)
