But he is making it up! :)

It's pure theatre at the moment and the world has a front row seat watching it all unfold. Funny, shocking and scary.

Every time he opens his mouth it feels like a new low, but last night’s rant was the absolute pits. And yet so many of his gullible followers still stand by him.

Too right it's scary. Just watched interview on C4 news with Mary Trump, his niece, who's professional opinion as a psychiatrist is that the next 76 days, while he still has the power of the presidency in his hands and more people close to him start distancing themselves, he will become more and more angry, and rather than concede or admit defeat would rather take us all down with him... whatever that means?

Where’s Matt Gaetz in all this? Supposedly he was the son Donald never realised he had but nothing. Nothing also from Hannity, Carlson or Piro.

Eric and Don had to call out the GOP to publicly back their father as he was making all these wild statements, Graham answered but few others have shown the willingness to go down with the ship. Bill Barr doesn’t seem to have any idea how to make this nasty election go away and his new chums in the Supreme Court are waiting to swat him down because (hopefully) their law careers mean something to them.

And still the wait goes on... but never a dull moment. Following Trump's repeated claims that "the virus" would disappear on November 4th because it was all a liberal fakenoozmeeja hoax to scare people into voting Democrat, the US keeps hitting record daily high infection numbers - and, with a kind of awful inevitability, Trump's own chief of staff, Mark Meadows, is among the new infections.

Anybody but Trump would have conceded by now. Trump is willing to destroy the country he says he loves to make a point!!!

Trump is going thru a mental meltdown, I think he is totally deranged.

He is a walking example, of a narcissistic , racist, bully,

Expect all the toys to be thrown from the pram, in the next weeks.

He should now concede, but I doubt it.

It's like watching a slow motion car crash ... he does seem to be completely unravelling and I suspect that's been the case for a while.

There is a report in the DM and Sun saying that he wants to hold a MAGA rally and refuses to accept he may lose. His advisors are struggling to convince him it's over. Tabloid sources granted, but his ego would love that last grandstand.

Anonymous targeted texts were sent to thousands of people on Thursday encouraging them to rally at a vote-counting centre in Philadelphia under the false claim that the election was being stolen by the Democrats.

The company responsible for the messages ...... Opn Sesame, a platform whose CEO is Gary Coby, the Trump campaign's digital director according to AP.

People talk about left and right, but Trump isn't about politics he's about dignity, respect and decency of which he has none. He's not about democracy either ..... he tried to suppress postal votes as he knew they'd favour Democrats who told their supporters to use the safe option in a pandemic. Why would you stand in a line and enter a voting centre with a maskless person who believes it's all a hoax when you could safely vote remotely?

I note the USA is again posting record daily totals of the fake virus

If he does lose I would imagine there will be a long line of people even within the Republican party who'll be looking to get even after his shabby treatment of people.

McConnell is already distancing himself from Trump.

I expect that if he were to go the potential for violence which he has fomented will be the thing that prevents all those lawsuits from coming home to roost.

Better to let him sidle off to Mar-a-Lago than have a civil war

I wonder what his supporters will think when his actual tax records are published proving he's paid next to nothing and has grifted them for 4 years?

Again nothing to do with politics, just my personal opinion of him as a member of the human race.

As Greta Thunberg put it "SO ridiculous. Donald must work on his Anger Management problem, then go to a good old fashioned move with a friend! Chill Donald, Chill"

You need some aloe vera Donald .... you just got burned :funny:
Remember, hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things, and no good thing ever dies!

I've been switching between CNN and Fox News for coverage and he seems to have lost Fox support. The end is nigh.

There's a good chance that Biden will win the Electoral College 306-232 - precisely the same margin by which Trump won in 2016, and which he's spent four years bragging about. How sweet that would be.

I've said it before here, but there's a reason why so many Americans voted for Trump, both last time and in this election. They - and I'm talking mainly about the blue-collar mid-West workers - might not like or approve of him as a person, but they desperately cling onto the promises he made. All they care about is having a job.

If the Democrats really want to move on from the legacy of Trump then they have to learn how to reach out to those workers, because they've been too comfortable in their DC bubble over recent decades.

https://youtu.be/IdnHfYbr1cQ
Jonathan Pie (as always) nails it in this rant about 5 days before the election (he was certain the polls were wrong). The liberal /left in both US and UK have spent so much time on 'identity' politics they seem to have forgotten the very reason they traditionally enjoyed the support of the working class - ie to end the gross economic and power injustices in our societies. As Pie says in his rant - for many families they're fully aware Trump is a f***ing idiot but if they feel it's been slighty less of a struggle in the last 4 years than it was under Obama that's all they care about - and who can blame them? Meanwhile all the Democrats are saying is "stop Trump" - when they're not banging on about LGBTQ+ rights, women's rights, Trans rights, BLM, etc.

Don't get me wrong I'm fully onboard with those issues - but that's an indulgence for a middle class white bloke with a decent stable job and home. If I was really struggling to pay the bills, keep the family together and scared sh1tless about what I'd do if my job disappeared I somewhat doubt I'd give a flying one.

Not convinced re that. Many voted on their emotions, patriotism, etc for a celebrity who can lie very well and hold a crowd. Shades of the Nuremburg rallies in Nazi Germany. Scarey.

Guess what? It's just been announced that Gaetz has Covid too. How many more to follow? Looks like Trump's inner circle of sycophants are surfing their very own second wave.

Absolutely fantastic news.

Good on you Joe.

On the 21st jan, Trump should be arrested, as his crimes he has committed are stacking up.

I am being serious.
