It’s an attention grabbing story. Any sensible business affected by Brexit will look to establish a presence inside the EU - if they don’t already have one. Just as many EU companies will do the same in the UK. And what a surprise it is that there has been an increase since Brexit - well blow me down.
Net net there will obviously be more of the former, but that doesn’t account for new opportunities arising should the UK be successful in its application for the CPTPP for example. These things will take time to work out and we will be worse off in the short term I suspect, but the prophets of doom on this thread have no greater insight than me as to whether we will be better or worse off in the medium to long term.
Anyway they’ll be busy salivating over the prospect of the break up of the union, just so they can say they were right.
